Employee Relations Can Provide You With An Instantaneous Civil Report

The Civil Report verifies the applicant's Name, Address and Telephone Number, as well as provides information if there have been any reported cases of identity theft related to the Social Security Number. The report includes Alias Names, Fraud Information and Public Records, which include Bankruptcies, Tax Liens, Foreclosures and Civil Judgments.

The existence of public records, in and of themselves may not exclude hiring an applicant; it does however give a potential employer insight into the credit worthiness of a future employee. It can show how the employee handles their own affairs, which may be indicative of how they handle the employer’s affairs. It is important to remember that many bankruptcies/foreclosures/etc. may be due to happenings and circumstances that are beyond the individual’s control.
